Sharon Creelman: Entrepreneur and Owner

Sharon brings over thirty years of international, progressive management and consulting experience, specialising in training and development, to her present role with three companies, focusing on training and development, and the hospitality industry.  Sharon's focus is to make her clients be their best, for their employee and management team; their guests; and their owners/shareholders.  This is achieved through observation, analysis, recommendations and implementation, customised for each client’s needs, through training and development, while placing emphasis on delivering superior guest service. 

Sharon holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Hospitality & Tourism, and a Certificate in Business Administration from Ryerson Polytechnical University, Toronto, Canada.  Additionally, she earned certificates in Human Resources, and Training & Development from Florida International University, Miami, as well as a Certificate in Human Resources & Training for Hospitality Management from the Professional Development Programme at Cornell University's Hotel School.

Sharon's corporate experience includes management positions with: Sheraton Corporation (in Toronto, New York & Miami); Hilton International; Manchu Wok of Scott's Hospitality; Four Seasons Resort, Nevis, (Opening Team); Roger's Wireless (Cantel - cellular communications); and Journey's End Corporation/Choice Hotels Canada.
Sharon's experience encompasses: establishment of training and people development departments; hospitality consulting; strategic planning and implementation; instructional design; development and delivery; and hospitality and Caribbean training and consulting.  Sharon’s success combines working independently and contracting additional resources and strategic alliances where needed to meet the varying demands, therefore keeping overhead costs down, and passing the savings onto her clients in the form of competitive rates.  She has created three international companies: Training Unlimited International; Hospitality Training Unlimited; and Island Training Unlimited.

Training Unlimited International focuses on meeting the training and development needs of business clients.  Hospitality Training Unlimited specialises in meeting the guest-focused needs of the hospitality and tourism industry.  Island Training Unlimited, focusing on Caribbean tourism, delivers operational and training consulting through mystery shopping (audits for hotels, restaurants, cruises, etc.); training design and delivery; and special projects.
